The Future

of Menopause Is Here.

We know a lot needs to be done to normalise menopause
in the workplace.
We’re getting the ball rolling by normalising our experiences.
Together we can erase menopause stigma, one story at a time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about the menopause mentor project? We’ve got answers.

Where do the stories come from?

Every single story came from a person experiencing menopause that submitted their personal story to the survey linked in the ‘Add your story here’ button.

The stories entered into the survey are remixed to ensure a consistent narrative style, while maintaining the author’s content, and removing any identifying information.

Current content was generated from surveys submitted from October, 2024.

What happens with the stories?

We hope that by sharing our stories, we break down the stigma that silences so many people in regards to menopause – especially in the workplace.

We want to get the ball rolling by sharing stories and generating connecting conversations about what really happens during menopause – at home, in our relationships, our body, and at work.

What’s the future of this project?

We understand there are specific needs that arise for people experiencing menopause, and that there’s no better way to understand what’s needed than by listening to the people that really know – the people who are in.. menopause.

We can foresee ongoing research, workplace training and education, peer networking, menopause mentor programs and a host of other tools.

Rather than race ahead and build it in a top-down approach which is a traditional approach, we’re taking the grass roots way. We’re doing things the way women have often done things – sharing experiences, connecting, and growing through conversations.

Is there a way I can get involved ?

We’d love to hear your feedback on our work. We are actively seeking participants for focus groups, beta testing and general advice based on your experiences within menopause, and your opinions on the execution of the project. Hit the “Contact Us” link above to get in touch.
